Pragmata Sector 2 Walkthrough (April 2026) Mass Production Array

Table Of Contents

If you have made it past the Lunar Research Facility and are staring down the neon-lit streets of Sector 2, you are in the right place. The Pragmata Sector 2 Walkthrough: Mass Production Array is one of the longest stretches in the game, packed with six distinct blocks, hidden collectibles, and one of the more punishing boss fights you will encounter early on. Our team spent over 40 hours mapping every corner of this sector to put together a guide that covers every safe box, every beacon, and every last Pure Lunum fragment.

This walkthrough covers everything from the moment you set foot in the Test Site Entrance all the way through the Creator boss fight at the Comms Tower. Whether you are doing a story-only push or chasing that 100% completion mark, we have broken this guide into block-by-block sections so you can jump straight to whatever you need. I will also flag the spots where players most commonly get stuck, especially that annoying 97% completion wall.

Before diving in, a quick heads-up on what to expect. Mass Production Array is set inside a lunar recreation of New York City, and it introduces several new mechanics including the Sweeper Bot, Lunafilament barriers, and the Lim Eraser tool. You will face Executor bots with red shields, Walker bots in narrow corridors, and a handful of Red Zone challenges that test your hacking speed. If you want to walk out of this sector with every collectible in hand, keep reading.

Mass Production Array Overview: What to Expect in Sector 2

Mass Production Array is the second major sector in Pragmata, and it is a significant step up in complexity from Sector 1. The zone is divided into six distinct blocks that Hugh and Diana must fight through while working toward the Comms Tower at the far end. Each block contains one beacon that needs to be hacked, plus a handful of safe boxes, REMs (Read Earth Memories), Pure Lunum, and other collectibles scattered throughout.

In terms of new mechanics, Sector 2 introduces the Lim Eraser (a tool that dissolves specific barriers), more complex hacking grids with cooling rods, and the Sweeper Bot that patrols certain areas. You will also encounter the Cabin’s Stamp Club for the first time, which lets you trade Cabin Coins for shelter upgrades. I recommend engaging with this system early because the upgrades make the later blocks significantly easier.

The total collectible count across all six blocks includes multiple safe boxes, Pure Lunum fragments, REMs, Mods, Upgrade Components, Cabin Coins, and a few unique items like the Shelter License Key and Mini Cabin Figure. If you are going for 100%, plan on spending extra time in the Shopping District and Side Alley since those two blocks hide the most easily missed items.

Before You Start: Loadout and Shelter Prep

Before stepping into the Test Site Entrance, take a few minutes to prepare. The enemies in Mass Production Array hit harder than anything you faced in Sector 1, and having the right loadout saves you a lot of frustration.

Here is what I recommend bringing:

  • Charge Piercer: Your primary weapon for most of Sector 2. The charge mechanic deals consistent damage to Executor bots and works well against Walker bots too. Upgrade the charge speed if you have spare Upgrade Components.
  • Riot Blaster: Excellent for crowd control when multiple enemies rush you at once. The stagger effect buys you time to reposition and line up hacks on beacons.
  • Decoy Generator: A lifesaver in the Shopping District and Business District where enemies come from multiple directions. Drop a decoy, flank, and pick them off.

For mods, prioritize Extended Breach and Relay Amplifier. Extended Breach gives you a larger window during hacking minigames, which is essential for the more complex beacon grids in later blocks. Relay Amplifier boosts your hacking range, letting you start hacks from safer positions during combat encounters.

Check the Cabin’s Stamp Club before you leave the shelter. If you have been collecting Cabin Coins from Sector 1, spend them on health and armor upgrades now. The defense boost is noticeable during the Creator boss fight, and the extra health gives you more room for error during Red Zone challenges. If you have not been collecting Cabin Coins, do not worry, I will point out every Coin location in this walkthrough so you can catch up.

Test Site Entrance Walkthrough

The Test Site Entrance is your first taste of Mass Production Array, and it wastes no time throwing enemies at you. As soon as you enter the block, you will see a wide boulevard stretching ahead with Executor bots patrolling in pairs. There is cover along both sides of the street, so use the overturned vehicles and barricades to break line of sight while you close the gap.

Enemies and Combat

The first encounter pits you against two Executor bots. These enemies have red shields that block frontal hacks, so you need to flank them. Circle around using the cover on the left side, then hit them from behind with the Charge Piercer. If you have the Decoy Generator, drop it in the center of the street to draw their attention while you reposition.

After the first pair, a Walker bot drops from an elevated platform ahead. Walker bots are slower but deal heavy damage with their slam attack. Keep your distance, charge your Piercer, and sidestep the slam. Three full charge shots should take it down on normal difficulty.

Beacon 01 Location and Hacking

The first beacon is at the end of the boulevard, past the Walker bot encounter. Approach the beacon and initiate the hack. The grid for this beacon is relatively simple, with only two cooling rods to manage. Route your signal through the path with the fewest firewall nodes, and you should clear it on the first or second attempt. This is a good warm-up for the more complex grids later in the sector.

Safe Box Locations

There are two safe boxes in the Test Site Entrance:

  • Safe Box 1: On the right side of the boulevard, behind a stack of crates near the first Executor pair. You can grab this before or after the fight. It contains an Upgrade Component.
  • Safe Box 2: On an elevated platform to the left of the beacon. Climb the debris pile to reach it. This one holds a Cabin Coin.

Other Collectibles

Check the dead-end alley on the left side of the boulevard for a REM (Read Earth Memory). It is a short detour and worth grabbing for the lore snippet alone. There is also a Pure Lunum fragment tucked behind a Lunafilament barrier near the exit gate. You cannot break this barrier yet since you do not have the Lim Eraser, so make a mental note to return here after Block 05.

Progress Check: After completing the Test Site Entrance, you should have hacked 1 of 6 beacons and collected 2 safe boxes.

Shopping District Walkthrough

The Shopping District is the largest and most collectible-dense block in all of Mass Production Array. This area recreates a Times Square-style environment with bright holographic billboards, multiple storefronts, and enemies tucked into every corner. Expect to spend the most time here if you are going for full completion.

Initial Approach

When you first enter the Shopping District, you will see a large open plaza with a central fountain. Three Executor bots patrol this area in a triangle formation. The easiest approach is to use the Decoy Generator to pull two of them toward the fountain, then pick off the third with charged Piercer shots from behind the storefront on the right. Once the third is down, focus fire on the decoy-distracted pair.

Do not rush past this plaza. There are collectibles hidden behind the storefronts on both sides of the fountain. Check the left storefront first for a Mod lying on the counter inside. The right storefront has a safe box in the back room behind the register.

Beacon 02 Location and Hacking

The second beacon is located on a raised platform in the northwest corner of the plaza, past a collapsed billboard. The hacking grid here is noticeably harder than Beacon 01, with three cooling rods and multiple firewall nodes. Start by clearing the path on the left side of the grid where the firewalls are thinnest. Use your Extended Breach mod to give yourself more time on the tighter sections.

If you fail the hack, do not panic. The beacon does not reset or spawn additional enemies. Take a breath, study the grid layout, and try again. The key is to prioritize reaching the cooling rods first so your signal path does not overheat before reaching the end.

Sweeper Bot Encounter

After hacking the beacon, the Shopping District opens up into a secondary area to the east. A Sweeper Bot patrols this zone, and it is one of the more frustrating enemies in the sector. The Sweeper Bot moves extremely fast and has a wide-area sweep attack that can catch you off guard if you are trying to hack it while moving.

The strategy that worked best for me is to bait the sweep attack by standing at medium range, then sprint in during the recovery animation. You get roughly a two-second window to start the hack. If the Sweeper Bot breaks your hack by moving, immediately back off and wait for the next sweep. Patience is key here. Rushing this fight is how most players take unnecessary damage.

Safe Box Locations

The Shopping District contains the most safe boxes of any block. Here are all the locations:

  • Safe Box 3: Inside the right storefront in the main plaza, behind the register counter. Contains a Pure Lunum fragment.
  • Safe Box 4: On the second floor of the eastern building, accessible via the external staircase near the Sweeper Bot zone. Contains an Upgrade Component.
  • Safe Box 5: Behind a Lunafilament barrier in the narrow alley north of the plaza. You need the Lim Eraser to open this one. Contains a Mod.
  • Safe Box 6: Tucked into a corner of the underground parking area beneath the plaza. Look for the entrance ramp on the south side. Contains a Cabin Coin.
  • Safe Box 7: On a rooftop accessible by climbing debris near the eastern exit. Contains a REM.

Other Collectibles

Scattered throughout the Shopping District you will find additional Pure Lunum fragments on the upper walkways, another REM near the holographic billboards, and a Weapon Mod in the underground parking area. Take your time and check every storefront, every rooftop accessible via debris climbing, and every dead-end alley. The Shopping District hides items in places you would not think to look unless you are specifically searching.

There is also a Red Zone challenge accessible from the northeast corner of the district. This is a timed hacking challenge that rewards a unique Upgrade Component on completion. The challenge requires you to hack three nodes in sequence within a time limit. If you are struggling with the timing, come back after you have the Lim Eraser and better mods equipped.

Progress Check: After completing the Shopping District, you should have hacked 2 of 6 beacons and collected 7 total safe boxes (including the 2 from Block 01).

Side Alley Walkthrough

The Side Alley is a narrow, winding corridor that runs parallel to the Shopping District. It is shorter in terms of combat encounters but packed with hidden collectibles behind Lunafilament barriers. If you do not have the Lim Eraser yet, you will need to revisit this block after completing Block 05.

Navigation and Enemies

The alley is a tight space with limited maneuverability, which makes the Walker bot encounter here particularly dangerous. Two Walker bots patrol the main corridor, and there is barely enough room to dodge their slam attacks. Use the Riot Blaster to stagger them before they wind up, then follow with charged Piercer shots. If you have the Decoy Generator, plant it at the far end of the corridor to draw one Walker while you focus on the other.

A single Spider bot appears on the walls about halfway through the alley. Spider bots are quick but fragile. One charged Piercer shot or two quick blasts from the Riot Blaster will drop it. The real threat is that it can ambush you from above if you are focused on the Walkers, so keep an eye on the ceiling.

Beacon 03 Location and Hacking

The third beacon is located in a small courtyard at the end of the alley. The hacking grid introduces a new element here: moving firewall nodes that shift position every few seconds. Time your signal routing to pass through gaps when the firewalls are in their open position. Wait for a cycle, learn the pattern, then execute. Most players clear this on the second or third attempt once they understand the rhythm.

Safe Box Locations

There are two safe boxes in the Side Alley:

  • Safe Box 8: On a narrow ledge about halfway through the alley, on the left wall. Look up after defeating the first Walker bot. Contains Pure Lunum.
  • Safe Box 9: Behind a Lunafilament barrier in the courtyard near the beacon. You need the Lim Eraser. Contains a Cabin Coin and an Upgrade Component.

Hidden Collectibles

The Side Alley has several items hidden behind Lunafilament barriers along the walls. If you have the Lim Eraser already, dissolve the barriers as you go. If not, these are all easily accessible on a return trip since the enemies do not respawn in the same density. Look for the faint purple glow of Lunafilament on walls and in corners. Behind these barriers you will find additional Pure Lunum fragments, a Mod, and a REM tucked into a dead-end nook near the courtyard.

One easily missed item is a Data Shard on a high ledge near the courtyard entrance. You need to climb a specific debris pile to reach it, and the angle makes it hard to spot from ground level. If you are at 97% completion and cannot figure out what you missed, this Data Shard is a likely culprit.

Progress Check: After completing the Side Alley, you should have hacked 3 of 6 beacons and collected 9 total safe boxes.

Business District Walkthrough

The Business District shifts the environment from open streets to a mix of wide plazas and enclosed office spaces. This block introduces Red Zone challenges and has some of the trickiest enemy placements in the sector. The pacing here is faster than previous blocks, so stay alert.

Combat Encounters

Your first fight in the Business District is against a mixed group of Executor bots and Spider bots in an open courtyard. The Spiders will rush you while the Executors hold back and pelt you with ranged attacks. Prioritize the Spiders first since they close distance quickly, then use cover to approach the Executors from the side. The Riot Blaster is your best friend here for staggering the rushing Spiders.

The second encounter takes place inside an office building. The tight corridors make Walker bots more dangerous because you have less room to dodge. Lure them into larger rooms by backing through doorways, then fight in the open space. One Walker bot guards the upper floor, and another drops down from a collapsed ceiling section near the exit.

Executor Weak Points

By this point in the game, you have fought plenty of Executors, but the Business District variants have upgraded red shields that are harder to bypass. The key is targeting the weak point on their back, which glows faintly when they are about to attack. If you hit the weak point during their attack wind-up, it staggers them and drops the shield for several seconds. Use that window to deal maximum damage with charged Piercer shots.

Beacon 04 Location and Hacking

The fourth beacon sits on the roof of the central office building. Reach it by taking the internal stairwell from the second floor. The hacking grid here is a step up from previous beacons, with four cooling rods and shifting firewall patterns similar to Beacon 03 but faster. The trick is to ignore the center path entirely and route your signal along the perimeter of the grid where there are fewer nodes. It takes longer in terms of path length but the reduced firewall density makes it more reliable.

Red Zone Challenge

The Business District contains a Red Zone challenge in the basement of the eastern building. You access it through a side entrance near the exit to Block 05. This challenge is a combat gauntlet where you face waves of enemies while hacking nodes under a strict time limit. The reward is a high-tier Upgrade Component, so it is worth the effort. Bring your best crowd-control loadout: Decoy Generator, Riot Blaster, and the Charge Piercer with damage mods equipped.

Safe Box Locations

There are three safe boxes in the Business District:

  • Safe Box 10: Inside the ground-floor lobby of the western building, behind the reception desk. Contains a REM.
  • Safe Box 11: On the second floor of the central office building, in a side office near the stairwell to the roof. Contains a Pure Lunum fragment.
  • Safe Box 12: In the basement near the Red Zone challenge entrance. Contains a Mod.

Progress Check: After completing the Business District, you should have hacked 4 of 6 beacons and collected 12 total safe boxes.

Lim Recycling Facility Walkthrough

The Lim Recycling Facility is where things get interesting. This industrial block introduces the Lim Eraser tool, new enemy types, and some of the best collectibles in the sector. The atmosphere shifts from urban streets to a cold, metallic processing plant, and the enemy density ramps up accordingly.

Lim Eraser Unlock

Early in the block, you will find the Lim Eraser in a cutscene-triggered room. The Lim Eraser is a tool that dissolves Lunafilament barriers, and it opens up a significant number of previously inaccessible areas across all blocks in Mass Production Array. Once you pick it up, I strongly recommend backtracking to the Test Site Entrance and Side Alley to collect the items behind the barriers you had to skip earlier. The Lim Recycler enemies in this block drop the Lunafilament charges needed to fuel the tool, so defeat every one you encounter.

New Enemy Types

The Lim Recycling Facility introduces Lim Recycler bots. These enemies are not directly aggressive, but they run away from you toward alarm nodes that spawn additional enemies. If a Lim Recycler reaches an alarm node, you will face a wave of Spider bots. Chase them down quickly with charged Piercer shots. The Riot Blaster is less effective here because the stagger does not last long enough to prevent them from reaching the alarm.

You will also encounter reinforced Executor bots with layered shields. These take significantly more hits to stagger. Focus on flanking and hitting the back weak point, and use the Lim Eraser on the Lunafilament nodes embedded in their armor for an instant shield break.

Beacon 05 Location and Hacking

The fifth beacon is deep inside the recycling plant, past a large processing chamber filled with conveyor belts and Lim Recycler bots. Clear the room first before attempting the hack, because the enemies will interrupt you if any survive. The hacking grid is complex, with five cooling rods and tight pathways. Route your signal methodically, hitting each cooling rod in sequence. Rushing this grid leads to overheating, so take it slow and steady.

Safe Box Locations

There are two safe boxes in the Lim Recycling Facility:

  • Safe Box 13: In the first processing room, on a catwalk above the conveyor belts. Climb the ladder on the east wall to reach it. Contains an Upgrade Component and Cabin Coin.
  • Safe Box 14: In a side room off the main corridor leading to the beacon, behind a Lunafilament barrier. Use your newly acquired Lim Eraser to open it. Contains Pure Lunum and a REM.

Other Collectibles

Check every catwalk and side room in this facility. There are Pure Lunum fragments on the upper walkways, Mods hidden in storage lockers, and a REM on a conveyor belt that you need to time a jump to reach. The conveyor belt REM is another commonly missed item that can leave you stuck at 97% completion if you skip it.

After clearing the Lim Recycling Facility and grabbing the Lim Eraser, this is the perfect time to backtrack. Return to Block 01 for the Pure Lunum behind the barrier near the exit gate, Block 02 for Safe Box 5 behind the Lunafilament barrier, and Block 03 for the barrier-hidden items in the courtyard. Getting all of these now saves you a longer return trip later.

Progress Check: After completing the Lim Recycling Facility and backtracking for barrier items, you should have hacked 5 of 6 beacons and collected 14+ total safe boxes.

Block 06: Comms Tower Walkthrough

The Comms Tower is the final block before the Creator boss fight. It is shorter than the previous blocks but packs a lot of combat into a compact space. The vertical design means you are fighting upward through multiple floors, and the enemies are the toughest you have faced so far.

Floor-by-Floor Progression

The Comms Tower has three combat floors plus a rooftop where the boss arena awaits. Each floor has a concentrated enemy encounter followed by a hacking node that opens the path to the next level.

Floor 1: Two reinforced Executor bots and a Walker bot in a wide lobby. Use the pillars for cover and pick off the Executors first. The Walker is slow enough to kite around the central pillar while you deal with the ranged threats.

Floor 2: A Sweeper Bot patrols a circular corridor. The tight space makes this fight harder than the Shopping District encounter. Use the Riot Blaster to stagger it in doorways where it cannot build momentum, then follow up with charged shots.

Floor 3: A gauntlet of Spider bots and a reinforced Executor. The Spiders come in waves of three, so keep your Riot Blaster ready. The Executor at the end of the hall has double-layer shields, so you will need to break both layers using the Lim Eraser on his armor nodes plus flanking weak-point hits.

Beacon 06 Location and Hacking

The sixth and final beacon is on the third floor, just before the rooftop access stairwell. The hacking grid is the most complex in the sector, with five cooling rods, shifting firewalls, and a tight time limit. Take a moment to study the full grid layout before starting. The optimal path runs along the bottom edge, loops up through the center, and exits on the right side. It looks counterintuitive, but it avoids the densest firewall clusters.

Safe Box Locations

There are two safe boxes in the Comms Tower:

  • Safe Box 15: On Floor 2, in a side office off the circular corridor. Contains the Shelter License Key, which is required for a shelter upgrade. Do not miss this one.
  • Safe Box 16: On Floor 3, behind a Lunafilament barrier in a maintenance closet near the beacon. Contains the Mini Cabin Figure collectible.

Pre-Boss Preparation

Before heading to the rooftop, make sure your loadout is optimized. Equip your best damage mods on the Charge Piercer, bring the Decoy Generator for crowd control during the boss fight, and ensure your health is topped off. There is a shelter access point on Floor 3 where you can swap mods and upgrade weapons if needed. Use it. You are about to face the Creator.

Progress Check: After completing the Comms Tower, you should have hacked all 6 of 6 beacons and collected all 16 safe boxes in the sector.

Creator Boss Fight Strategy: How to Beat the Gigantic Bot

The Creator, also known as the Gigantic Bot, is the boss at the end of Mass Production Array. It is a large, multi-phase fight that tests everything you have learned in Sector 2. The fight takes place on the Comms Tower rooftop, which gives you plenty of space to maneuver but also means there is limited cover.

Phase 1: Shielded Attacker

In Phase 1, the Creator has a full energy shield and attacks with slow, telegraphed arm swings and a ground-pound shockwave. The shield absorbs a set amount of damage before breaking, so focus fire on one arm to create an opening. The ground-pound is your best attack window. Jump over the shockwave, land, and unload charged Piercer shots into the exposed arm joint.

Drop a Decoy on the opposite side of the arena to draw the Creator’s attention, then sprint behind it and target the back weak point. This strategy works consistently and lets you avoid most of the arm swing attacks. After dealing enough damage to one arm, the shield on that side cracks, exposing the internals.

Phase 2: Enraged Mode

At roughly 50% health, the Creator enters Phase 2. The shield drops entirely, but the attack speed increases dramatically. New attacks include a charging lunge that covers half the arena and a rapid-fire energy burst from its chest. The lunge is the biggest threat because it can one-shot you on higher difficulties.

To counter the lunge, watch for the tell: the Creator steps back and its chest glows bright orange. Sprint perpendicular to the charge direction, not backward. The lateral movement avoids the hitbox entirely and puts you in perfect position to attack its flank during the recovery animation.

The energy burst is easier to handle. The Creator locks in place and fires in a fixed arc. Simply move behind it during the wind-up and punish with charged shots to the exposed back. The Decoy Generator is useful here to draw the burst toward the decoy instead of you.

Phase 3: Overdrive Protocol

Below 25% health, the Creator activates its Overdrive Protocol. The arena narrows as debris falls from the tower, reducing your movement space. The Creator gains a spinning attack that sweeps the entire arena. You need to time a jump to avoid it, which requires watching the wind-up animation carefully.

The key to Phase 3 is aggression. The Creator’s defenses are gone, and every hit deals massive damage. Unload your Charge Piercer as fast as possible, use the Decoy to buy brief windows of safety, and do not stop moving. If you have any Overdrive abilities saved up, use them now. The fight ends with a scripted finishing sequence once you deplete the last of its health bar.

Boss Fight Rewards

Defeating the Creator rewards you with a significant batch of Upgrade Components, a unique weapon mod, and the key item needed to progress to Sector 3. You also unlock the Mass Production Array completion stamp for your shelter, which contributes to the overall game completion percentage. If you collected all 16 safe boxes, hacked all 6 beacons, and gathered every collectible, you should be sitting at 100% sector completion.

Mass Production Array 100% Completion Checklist

Getting 100% in Mass Production Array requires collecting every item and completing every challenge across all six blocks. Here is what counts toward your completion percentage and where to find it all.

What Counts Toward 100%

The game tracks several categories for sector completion:

  • Beacons Hacked: 6 total (one per block). You cannot miss these since they are required for progression.
  • Safe Boxes Opened: 16 total spread across all six blocks. Some are hidden behind Lunafilament barriers.
  • REMs Collected: Found in each block, usually off the main path.
  • Pure Lunum Fragments: Scattered throughout, often behind barriers or on elevated platforms.
  • Mods Collected: One or two per block, usually in safe boxes or hidden corners.
  • Red Zone Challenges: Two challenges in the Shopping District and Business District.
  • Unique Items: Shelter License Key, Mini Cabin Figure, Lim Eraser.

Stuck at 97%? Check These Spots

If you are stuck at 97% completion, you are not alone. This is the most common pain point players report. The usual culprits are:

  • The Data Shard on the high ledge in the Side Alley courtyard entrance.
  • The REM on the conveyor belt in the Lim Recycling Facility that requires a timed jump.
  • The rooftop safe box in the Shopping District that requires climbing debris near the eastern exit.
  • The underground parking safe box beneath the Shopping District plaza, which has an easily missed entrance ramp.

If none of those are the issue, check your Red Zone challenges. Both must be completed for 100%, and the Business District challenge is easy to walk past since the entrance is tucked into a corner near the Block 05 exit.

Block-by-Block Collectible Summary

Test Site Entrance: 2 safe boxes, 1 REM, 1 Pure Lunum (behind barrier, return with Lim Eraser), 1 Upgrade Component, 1 Cabin Coin.

From the initial combat gauntlet in the Test Site Entrance through to the three-phase Creator boss fight on the Comms Tower rooftop, Sector 2 is a meaty chunk of content that rewards thorough exploration. The Lim Eraser unlocks a ton of previously inaccessible areas, so always backtrack after Block 05 if you want that clean 100% completion.

The biggest takeaway from our playthrough is this: do not sleep on the Shopping District. It holds more collectibles than any other block, and several of its items are the ones that leave players stuck at 97%. Check every storefront, climb every debris pile, and do not forget the underground parking entrance on the south side of the plaza.

If you are moving on to Sector 3, make sure your weapons are fully upgraded and your shelter bonuses are active. The difficulty ramps up from here, and the collectibles become harder to find. Good luck out there, Hugh and Diana are counting on you.
