If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent countless hours mining, fighting, and exploring in The Forge Roblox, but there’s something incredibly thrilling about discovering those hidden locations that most players never find. I’ve been playing The Forge since its early days, and let me tell you – the secret locations are where the real magic happens. Whether you’re hunting for rare pickaxes, searching for hidden treasures, or just love the thrill of exploration, this complete guide will take you through every secret location I’ve discovered across both Stonewake’s Cross and Forgotten Kingdom.
The Forge is one of those Roblox games that just gets under your skin – in the best way possible. It’s a mining and forging RPG where you start with nothing but a basic pickaxe and gradually work your way up to legendary equipment. What makes The Forge special is its attention to detail and the sheer number of hidden areas scattered throughout its world. I’ve played dozens of Roblox RPGs, but The Forge stands out because it rewards exploration in ways that most games don’t. The secret locations aren’t just Easter eggs – they contain some of the best gear and most valuable resources in the entire game.
I’ll admit it – I’m a completionist at heart. There’s something incredibly satisfying about finding that one hidden cave everyone’s talking about or discovering a secret area that even veteran players don’t know about. What I love most about The Forge’s secret locations is how they’re integrated into the game’s lore. Each hidden area tells a story, whether it’s the mysterious Fallen Angel’s Cave or the whimsical Monke hiding in Forgotten Kingdom. These aren’t just random spots on the map – they’re carefully crafted experiences that make the world feel alive and full of possibilities.
This is probably the first secret location you’ll encounter, and it’s essential for unlocking other secrets. Here’s exactly how I found it:
Location: Head east from the starting area toward The Cave. You’ll pass a Potions Stall in the northeast, and just beyond it, you’ll spot a small campfire. The Bard is sitting on the floor near the fire.
How to Access: Go southeast from the starting area into The Cave. At the bottom of the slope, turn left and look for the second pebble or first wooden pillar on the left, near the greenery on the wall. Walk into the greenery, and you’ll drop down into the Secret Cave.
What You’ll Find: The Bard’s missing guitar is just to the right of a skeleton on the rocks. There’s also an Undead NPC you can chat with for some interesting dialogue.
Pro Tip: Don’t just grab the guitar and leave – take a moment to explore the entire cave. I’ve found some valuable ore deposits here that respawn regularly.
This is hands down one of the most valuable secret locations in the entire game. The Arcane Pickaxe you find here is a game-changer.
How to Unlock: First, complete the Bard’s Guitar quest by returning the guitar to The Bard. He’ll reward you with an Unknown Key.
Location: Head back to The Cave and go to the bottom of the slope. Turn right and follow the path east, then take the first path on the right. You’ll find a locked gate – use the Unknown Key here.
What You’ll Find: At the end of the cave, you’ll see hands carved from stone with the Arcane Pickaxe floating in the middle. Here are its stats:
Cost: $125,000 (worth every penny!)
Personal Experience: I saved up for two weeks to afford this pickaxe, and it completely transformed my gameplay. The 50% luck boost means I find rare ores constantly, and the extra rune slots allow for incredible customization.
This secret location is perfect for players who want to make some serious money quickly.
Location: Head south from the starting area and past the shop. Follow the slope up to the southeast, and on the right, you’ll find Tomo. Opposite Tomo is a house – this is where you’ll find the Lucky Blocks.
How to Access: This one requires some skill. Climb up onto the ledge on the northwestern side of the house, facing southeast. You need to run (Shift on PC), jump (Spacebar on PC), and dash (Q on PC) while aiming for the triangle on the right.
What You’ll Find: Once inside, you’ll find a hole in the floor with scaffolding. Drop down to the very bottom, and you’ll discover a Hidden Roof area with Lucky Blocks.
Important Notes:
My Strategy: I usually come here with my best pickaxe and break all the Lucky Blocks once per day. The Fichilium sells for a great price, and I’ve even found some rare runes inside.
This has to be one of the most entertaining secret locations in the game. Monke is just… well, you’ll see.
Location: When you load into Forgotten Kingdom, turn around and face the water. Look to the southwest where you’ll see small islands nearby.
How to Access: Swim over to the larger island on the right, then climb up. You can run, jump, and dash across to the smaller island on the left.
What You’ll Find: Monke is hiding behind a rock with coconuts and bananas. Speak to him to start the “Monke need Bananite” quest.
Quest Details: Monke will ask for Bananite. While it seems like you can agree to bring 1 or 5 Bananite, you actually need to bring 30.
Reward: Completing this quest gives you some unique items and access to a special area that I won’t spoil here.
Funny Story: The first time I found Monke, I spent hours trying to find Bananite, only to realize I needed 30 times more than I initially thought. It was frustrating but totally worth it!
This one is truly bizarre and wonderful at the same time.
Location: Head east from the starting area of Forgotten Kingdom and turn left past the Enhancer. This takes you to the south entrance of the Ruined Cave. Head north as far as you can, then turn left through the passage with a wooden Danger sign above it in the northeast.
How to Access: Head east along this passage until you enter the Ashen Passage. Take the first turning on the right, and you’ll enter a room where you’ll see Amber on the other side, next to the Magma Pickaxe.
What You’ll Find: On the western side of this room, there’s a hole in the floor blocked by Basalt Vein. Ignore the hole and look behind the lava shards along the western wall. There’s a small alcove where you’ll find a giant cat face.
Significance: While this might seem like just a fun Easter egg, I’ve noticed that visiting the Giant Cat Face seems to increase your luck for a short period. It might be coincidental, but I always make a stop here before going on major mining expeditions.
This isn’t exactly a secret location in the traditional sense, but many players don’t know about its functionality.
Location: Right beside the spawning point of Forgotten Kingdom.
How to Use: Simply interact with the canon.
What It Does: It launches you directly in front of Captain Rowan’s Camp, saving you a lot of travel time.
Why It’s Useful: When you’re doing quests that require multiple trips between the spawn point and Captain Rowan’s Camp, this canon is a massive time-saver. I use it constantly when I’m grinding quests in Forgotten Kingdom.
This is a hidden location that many players miss entirely.
Location: Inside the Goblin Cave, beside a waterfall.
How to Access: Complete the Goblin King quest first. Once done, the stone wall in the Goblin Cave will open, revealing the Crumbling Halls.
What You’ll Find: Tomo’s Cat is hiding here, and there are also some valuable ore deposits that don’t appear anywhere else.
Personal Experience: I stumbled upon this by accident after completing the Goblin King quest. The ore here is some of the most valuable I’ve found in the game, and Tomo’s Cat gives you a special buff if you interact with it.
This is arguably the most exclusive secret location in the entire game, and for good reason.
Location: At the end of the Volcanic Passage, behind a black door.
How to Access: You can only enter this room if you have the Demon race. The door is locked to all other races.
What You’ll Find: The Demonic Pickaxe, which is one of the best pickaxes in the game. It has incredible stats and unique abilities that make it worth the effort of getting the Demon race.
Stats: While exact stats vary with updates, the Demonic Pickaxe typically has:
My Journey: I spent weeks trying to get the Demon race just to access this room, and let me tell you – it was absolutely worth it. The Demonic Pickaxe has made my mining sessions incredibly efficient, and I’ve made more money in the past week than I did in the previous month combined.
Based on my extensive exploration, here are some pro tips that will help you discover even more secrets:
I can’t stress this enough. Many secret locations are unlocked through quests that start with seemingly unimportant NPCs. The Bard, Monke, and even Tomo all lead to major secrets.
The Forge developers are masters at hiding secrets in plain sight. If you see a weird texture on a wall, an unusual rock formation, or a path that seems to go nowhere – investigate it. I’ve found several secret locations just by being thorough.
Many secret locations require precise jumping, dashing, and climbing. Practice your movement mechanics, especially the run-jump-dash combination. It’s essential for reaching the Hidden Roof and other elevated secret areas.
Side quests often lead to secret locations. The Bard’s Guitar quest is a perfect example – it leads directly to the Fallen Angel’s Cave and the Arcane Pickaxe.
Some secret locations, like the Demonic Pickaxe Room, are only accessible with specific races. Experiment with different races to unlock all the content.
While we’re on the topic of secrets, here are some current codes that can help you on your journey:
Note: Codes expire regularly, so use them quickly:
How to Redeem: Look for the codes button in the main menu or settings area.
The Forge developers are constantly adding new content, and with each update comes new secrets. Here are some recent additions:
The latest patch added a secret underground laboratory beneath the Wizard’s Tower. To access it, you need to solve a puzzle involving the runes around the tower.
Some secret locations have been modified:
A: Most secret locations respawn every 24 hours, but some (like the Demonic Pickaxe Room) are one-time only. I recommend checking your favorite spots daily.
A: Currently, all known secret locations can be accessed solo, but some are much easier with friends helping you navigate or fight enemies.
A: In my opinion, the Fallen Angel’s Cave is the most valuable because the Arcane Pickaxe dramatically increases your overall efficiency and earning potential.
A: As of now, those are the only two worlds, but the developers have hinted at future expansions with new areas and secrets.
A: Most secret locations remain accessible throughout the game, but some quest-related ones might become unavailable if you progress too far without completing certain prerequisites.
Exploring the secret locations in The Forge has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in Roblox gaming. There’s something incredibly satisfying about uncovering these hidden areas, especially when they contain game-changing items like the Arcane Pickaxe or Demonic Pickaxe.
I hope this guide helps you discover all the secrets The Forge has to offer. Remember, the developers are always adding new content, so keep exploring, talking to NPCs, and trying new things. You never know when you might stumble upon the next big secret!
