I’ve been grinding in My Fishing Brainrots since day one, and let me tell you – the upcoming Reward Track update is about to change everything! As someone who’s spent countless hours hatching eggs and managing my fishing empire, I’m genuinely excited about this new progression system that’s dropping February 7th, 2026 at 5:00 AM PT.
The Reward Track is a brand-new progression system coming to My Fishing Brainrots that rewards you for simply playing the game and collecting brainrots. Think of it like a battle pass, but instead of grinding battles, you’re grinding fish and brainrot collections!
From what I’ve gathered from the developers’ Discord teasers, this system works similarly to the one in Plants vs Brainrots. You’ll have a board showing three specific brainrots you need to submit. Each submission earns you rewards like coins and luck boosts, but here’s the kicker – completing all three brainrots grants you Skull Coins and other valuable rewards that you can’t get anywhere else.
Honestly, I’ve been waiting for something like this! As a veteran player, I love that the developers are finally rewarding consistent playtime. Right now, I’m sitting on over 50 different brainrots, but aside from selling fish, there hasn’t been a great way to utilize my collection strategically.
The Reward Track changes everything. It gives purpose to collecting different brainrot types and rarities, and it finally makes sense to keep those “less useful” brainrots that you might otherwise sell. Plus, with the new Matteo character being introduced (a spooky brainrot teased by the devs), there’s never been a better time to expand your collection.
Based on my experience with similar systems in other Roblox games, here’s my preparation strategy:
Stockpile Diverse Brainrots: Don’t just focus on the highest earners. The Reward Track will likely require specific brainrot types, so variety is key. I’m currently keeping at least 3-5 of each common and uncommon brainrot I hatch.
Save Your Skull Coins: If you have any Skull Coins saved up, hold onto them! The Reward Track will likely introduce exclusive items or upgrades that can only be purchased with these premium currencies.
Maximize Your Fishing Efficiency: Upgrade your fishing rods and conveyor belt now. When the update drops, you’ll want to be able to complete reward tracks as quickly as possible.
Join the Discord: The developers are dropping hints about required brainrots and exclusive rewards. Being in the know will give you a massive advantage.
While we wait for the Reward Track, here are the current working codes to boost your progress:
To redeem these, just hit the Shop button, scroll to the bottom, and enter the codes. I always redeem LUCKY right before hatching eggs to maximize my chances of getting rare brainrots.
The developers have been pretty tight-lipped, but here’s what I’ve pieced together from various sources:
New Brainrot Types: Alongside Matteo, expect several new aquatic-themed brainrots that will likely be essential for the Reward Track.
Enhanced Reward Tiers: Unlike simple daily rewards, this system will have multiple tiers with increasingly valuable rewards.
Special Events: The Reward Track launch coincides with an Admin Abuse event, meaning double rewards and special drops for early participants.
Cross-Progression: Your Reward Track progress might sync with other Brainrot games, giving you even more value.
Once the update drops, here’s my game plan:
Focus on Completion First: Don’t worry about optimizing every single reward initially. The goal is to complete tracks quickly to unlock higher tiers.
Team Up with Friends: Some tracks might require specific brainrot combinations. Trading with friends could be essential for rapid progression.
Time Your Boosts: Save your luck boosts and cash multipliers for when you’re actively working on Reward Track objectives.
Document Everything: I’ll be keeping a spreadsheet of which brainrots I’ve submitted and what rewards I’ve earned. This helps with planning future strategies.
February 7th, 2026 at 5:00 AM PT. That’s 8:00 AM EST, 2:00 PM CET, 6:30 PM IST, and 10:00 PM JST.
Based on similar systems, there will likely be both free and premium tracks. The free track should offer substantial rewards on its own.
Absolutely not! Your existing brainrots and progress will carry over. In fact, having a diverse collection will give you a head start.
Almost certainly. The launch event will likely feature exclusive brainrots and rewards that won’t be available later.
This Reward Track update is exactly what My Fishing Brainrots needed to keep long-term players engaged. The system rewards both casual play and dedicated grinding, which I really appreciate. As someone who’s invested hundreds of hours into building my fishing empire, I’m thrilled to have a new progression system that makes my brainrot collection more meaningful.
The timing is perfect too – with the new Matteo character and the Admin Abuse event, launch day is going to be incredible. I’ll be streaming my first impressions and Reward Track progression, so make sure you’re prepared when the update drops!
